In 1989 we began lodging our clients. Our lodge, Timber Doodle Inn, which was built entirely buy our family and is still in the process of expanding, includes on the ground floor 5 guest bedrooms, two bedrooms have ½ bathrooms and 2 full bathrooms are shared by our guest. Our bedrooms have (in floor) heat and have ceramic tile flooring, they are beautifully appointed with tongue and groove paneling of various species of natural wood that was harvested from the estate. We also have a gun cleaning area, a utility area and the lodge office. The upper level, which overlooks the beautiful (north woods), includes a spacious great room with a natural stone fireplace, all natural hardwood flooring and the walls and ceiling are tongue and groove paneling, a dining area and a kitchen that is appointed well. We like to keep the groups small, so that we can maintain personal attention to our guest. We can accommodate up to 12 clients comfortably. We are a nonsmoking establishment.
We also have a rustic farm house available for lodging. The house is located ¼ of a mile from our lodge. It is located on a hill overlooking the picturesque country side. The house has 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, living room and kitchen.
Our family lives in a separate area of the lodge. The lodge is located on the farm in which Peter was raised. We are located 7 ½ miles northwest of Phillips, Wisconsin.
Most of our hunting packages include a meal plan. Gourmet meals are served. Our food is homemade, nutritious and well-balanced. We can also accommodate special diets and vegetarians. Please let us know of your special needs in advance. Guests are allowed to bring their own beverages.
